Update automatically
By Christian · 9 October 2026
The Automatic Updates feature ensures that your system is always running the latest software. It also checks for and corrects any configuration errors that may occur.
We recommend keeping Automatic Updates enabled at all times. This setting can be enabled on the Settings page, which is accessed via the gear icon.
Starting an Automatic Update
If you would like to start an update immediately, select the "Start Update" button. Otherwise, automatic updates will run during the configured time period.
What is the Best Time Period for Automatic Updates?
By default, automatic updates are scheduled to run between 01:00 and 05:00.
If you wish to change this schedule, it is recommended to choose a time period when the system is used the least, such as during the night while occupants are asleep or when nobody is at home.
To change the update schedule, edit the times in the existing schedule or select the plus (+) icon to create a new schedule.
How Do Automatic Updates Work?
When automatic updates are running, all devices in the system are checked. During this process:
- Software updates are installed when available.
- Connection tests are performed continuously.
- Configuration errors are identified and corrected.
If a software update is available, the system first performs a connection test on the device. If the connection quality is above 50% on at least one phase, the update process will begin.
What Happens to Devices That Are Not Updated?
Devices that cannot be updated due to a poor connection will be listed on the "Devices" page. This page shows, among other information, which devices have not been updated.
It is also possible to start troubleshooting for a device directly from this page.
