Guide Light

Guide light settings can be configured under the "Guide" menu. Here, you can choose to configure guide lights for all your devices or only selected ones.

What is Guide Light?

When Guide Light is enabled, a red guide light will be illuminated around a push button whenever the button or the power outlet is not in use. This means the device will have a constant background illumination.

What is Active Light?

Active Light indicates whether one or more linked devices are turned on. For example, when a light is switched on using a push button, the Active Light will be activated on that push button.

Guide Light and Active Light Enabled Simultaneously

It is possible to enable both Guide Light and Active Light at the same time. For example, the Guide Light can be set to a low brightness level, while the Active Light is set to a slightly higher brightness level. This provides a constant background illumination, and when the light is switched on, the illumination becomes brighter, clearly indicating that the light is active.

Set the Guide Light to Follow a Schedule

If a schedule is applied to the Guide Light, it will only be active during a specified period. For example, you can configure the Guide Light to be active from sunset until 23:00 o'clock.

To configure a Guide Light schedule in the app:

  • Select the room where the device is located
  • Select the device and then choose "Guide Light"
  • Tap the highlighted field labeled "Enable Guide Light", then select the desired setting from the menu
