How the Smoke Alarm Function Works
A ZenseIO device is connected to your smoke alarm, enabling you to create a lighting scenario that is triggered when the smoke alarm is activated.
For example, you can configure the lights to illuminate a specific route through the house leading to the nearest exit. It is also possible to connect an external siren to a power outlet, which can automatically be activated when the smoke alarm is triggered.
How the Smoke Alarm Is Activated and Deactivated
The smoke alarm function is activated and deactivated through the app.
Once the alarm has been triggered, it must be manually reactivated in the app if you want the function to remain active for future alarm events.
