Automatic Turn Off

This article explains how to configure Automatic Turn Off, including how to enable it and how to configure it using a schedule.
The Automatic Turn Off function can be used with all ZenseHome devices. It can be accessed in the app by:
- Selecting the room where the device is located.
- Selecting the device on which the function should be configured.
Automatic Turn Off: On
After enabling Automatic Turn Off, configure "Turn off after (hh:mm:ss)".
For example, if it is set to 10 minutes, the device will automatically turn off after 10 minutes.
Do Not Turn Off If Motion Is Detected
When this option is enabled, the timer will be reset every time motion is detected.
For example, if "Turn off after" is set to 2 minutes, and motion is detected before the 2 minutes have elapsed, the timer will restart and wait another 2 minutes before turning the device off.
Do Not Turn Off If the Device Is Consuming Power
When this option is enabled, the device will only turn off if a predefined minimum power consumption is not detected.
This is useful for preventing devices from being turned off while they are still in use.
Configure Automatic Turn Off on a Schedule
It is possible to configure a device to use Automatic Turn Off only during a specific time period.
You can select:
- Weekdays
- Start time
- End time
The selected device will then automatically use the Automatic Turn Off function only during the specified period.
For example, Automatic Turn Off can be active between sunset and 22:00 o'clock.
Once the schedule has been configured, select "Save".
The schedule will then become active. A saved schedule can be edited at any time.
