Connect your box to wifi

To connect your box to Wi-Fi, please follow the instructions below:

Wi-Fi connection:

If the box needs access to the router using Wi-Fi, the box needs to be connected to the new Wi-Fi network by following the steps below.

  1. Connect the box to a power source.

  2. The box will begin flashing red once every second.

  3. After 30-40 seconds, the box will begin flashing 3 quick flashes, a pause, flashing 3 quick flashes, pause, continuing this pattern.

  4. The new owner needs to open his phone's Wi-Fi settings. Find a Wi-Fi network named with "zensehome......"

  5. The new owner needs to connect to this Wi-Fi network.

  6. a) Most phones will then automatically open a new window where you will need to select which wifi-network you want the box to be connected to from a dropdown list. Then enter your password for the Wi-Fi in the textbox and press connect. After a few minutes, the box should display a solid red light, without any flashing. This shows that the box is online and connected to a Wi-Fi network. If the new owner looks at the phone's Wi-Fi settings, the Wi-Fi named with "zensehome....." should no longer be visible.

    b) If the phone does not open a window to select your own Wi-Fi network, you will need to find that menu manually. The exact steps may vary depending on your phone model. You may try to open the Wi-Fi settings, select the "zensehome....." network, open the network settings, and then choose "Manage Router". Then a window will open. If this does not work, you will be able to find the IP address of the box in the "Manage Router" menu. Copy the IP address and paste it into your desired web browser on your phone. If this does not work, we will be available for contact on support@zensehome.com and we will try to find a solution.

If something goes wrong with the establishment of the connection, the box will start flashing again. If this happens, go to the Wi-Fi settings on your phone and try the process from step 4 onwards. Some phones are slow to update the available Wi-Fi networks, you may need to refresh the the list of available Wi-Fi networks a few times if the "zensehome...." network does not appear.
